I mentioned above that it was NOT Good practice to buy lists, many people believe that the easiest way to get a list is to buy or harvest email addresses on the Internet and start sending marketing emails to the list hoping that someone will enter their details, click and buy. Generally, all this generates is complaints, being registered as a spammer and won’t bring you any sales, sign ups or followers. At best they will delete your email, at worse they will hit “Report Spam” and after a certain amount of spam complaints your account with an ESP will be shut down.
Creating a 'Killer Sign-up Form' is the way to go, and with the creation of landing pages, capturing emails is now really simple and most importantly legitimate. See the image aside as an example. A good idea to increase the number of emails you capture is to make an offering such as a Free report, a discount voucher, an ebook or similar. I would strongly suggest that you use your various Social Media pages to promote the Call To Action to your sign up form.
